1. Who we are, and what this is
Chainring Club (chainringclub.com) is a publisher operated by Type 5 Marketing LLC. It publishes editorial guides about cycling equipment. We are not a retailer.We sell nothing, take no orders, hold no stock, and handle no payments. Every purchase you make happens on someone else’s site under their terms.

2. We haven’t tested this gear
This matters enough to be a term and not just a disclaimer. We have not tested, ridden, worn or owned the products we write about.Our content is compiled from published manufacturer specifications, published third-party data, and arithmetic we show our working for. It is our honest editorial opinion based on that material — it is not a test report, a measurement, or a professional certification. How we work is set out in full on how we research.
3. Prices and specifications
Prices come live from Amazon’s API and change constantly. Any price here is accurate only as of the timestamp shown beside it, and if our data goes stale the price is removed automatically. The price on the retailer’s page at the moment you buy is the only one that counts.
Specifications are quoted from the manufacturer’s or seller’s own published material and attributed as such. We don’t independently verify them, and we don’t warrant that a third party’s published claim is correct. Sellers change specs without notice.
4. Affiliate links

5. Safety
Cycling carries risk, and so does working on a bike. Our maintenance guides describe general procedures; they are not a substitute for your component manufacturer’s service instructions or torque specifications, and they are not a substitute for a qualified mechanic. Brakes, steering, forks and structural components are safety-critical — if you are not confident, get a professional to do it.Always follow the manufacturer’s own manual, which wins over anything we write. Helmet content is informational and no helmet prevents all injury.

6. No warranty
This site is provided “as is”. We work hard to be accurate and we correct mistakes when we find them or when you tell us, but we don’t warrant that the content is complete, current or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Type 5 Marketing LLCis not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from a purchase you made after reading it, or from a third party’s product or conduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

The words, arithmetic and page designs here belong to Type 5 Marketing LLC. Quote us with attribution and a link — that’s welcome. Republishing pages wholesale is not. Product images and titles belong to Amazon or the respective manufacturer and are used under the Amazon Associates programme.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
