Black Friday & Cyber Monday Cycling Deals 2026

Heads up: we earn a commission if you buy through the links on this page, at no extra cost to you. It never decides what makes the list — here’s how that works.

Every Black Friday cycling page on the internet is written in one of two ways. Either it is published in November as a firehose of affiliate links to whatever is on sale, or it is published in September with invented predictions — “expect huge Garmin discounts” — to catch the search traffic early. We are publishing in September, and we are not doing the second thing.

What we can honestly do in September is three things. Tell you what discounted last year, with the source for every figure. Tell you what did not, and where we looked. And show you today’s price on each of our top picks, pulled live from Amazon with a date beside it, so that when a “was” price appears in November you have a real number to compare it against instead of the retailer’s.

What we have not done

We have not tested any product on this page — that is the site’s standing position and it does not change for a sale. We have not predicted a single price. Every percentage below is a figure a named publication printed about a deal that actually happened, on a date we give, and it is quoted as theirs. Where we could not find evidence about a category, we say “we did not find it” rather than filling the gap.

What historically discounted in cycling

Our main source for last year is Cyclingnews’s Cyber Monday roundup, written by its associate tech editor Josh Croxton and last updated on 1 December 2025. It is useful precisely because it was written at the end of the weekend, when the author could see what had actually happened rather than what was hoped for. Its section headings are the categories cycling deals cluster in: tech (GPS computers, power meters, headphones), lights, indoor cycling, clothing, shoes and helmets, bikes, and components and tools.

Bike computers and GPS.The strongest published history on this site. Cyclingnews listed Amazon’s Garmin Edge 540 Solar deal at 38 percent off and the Edge 1040 Solar at 23 percent off on Cyber Monday 2025. DC Rainmaker’s Prime Day tracker from July 2025 adds the important nuance: Garmin computers also discounted heavily in July, and the same writer’s rule is that “Black Friday deals are for ‘older’ things, rarely the ‘just announced’ stuff that often comes in the late August to October timeframe.” Garmin announced the Edge 550 on 9 September 2025, which makes the Edge 540 on our computer roundup exactly the kind of product that rule describes.

Lights.Lights had their own section in the 2025 roundup — Cyclingnews described “loads of Cyber Monday bike light deals” and singled out a Magicshine front light at 41 percent off at Amazon as “the one that gets you the biggest brightness for the best price”. Lights are cheap, seasonal, and sold by many brands, which is the profile of a category that discounts.

Clothing, shoes and helmets.Deep discounts, with a catch that matters more to a gifter than to anyone: they come in the sizes nobody bought. Cyclingnews listed a Castelli winter jacket at 40 percent off with the note “unsurprisingly only a few sizes remain”, and Specialized at “up to 80% off shoes”. A percentage you cannot get in your size is not a discount.

E-bikes.The direct-to-consumer brands run November hard. Electrek’s curated list from 28 November 2025 covers Lectric, Aventon, Velotric, Ride1Up and others, and notes that Lectric was “largely discounting their bundles as opposed to simply dropping the base price”. For the brands Amazon actually sells, Electrek recorded Heybike’s own early Black Friday sale on 3 November 2025, with the Mars 2.0 at what it called the “best price we have tracked in its history”. The Mars 2.0 has since gone unavailable on Amazon; its successor, the Mars 3.0, is now our top pick for the best e-bike on Amazon, and that 2025 price history belongs to the older bike. Two honesty notes: that was Heybike’s own site, not Amazon; and the same Electrek writer describes Amazon e-bikes as “the slightly cheaper Amazon-specials” that the direct brands “actually stand behind” in a way he doubts. We link Amazon, so you should weigh that.

Locks. Cyclingnews listed the Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 with cable at 34 percent off at Amazon on Cyber Monday 2025. That is our lock roundup’s top pick, on the same listing, so it is on the price board below.

Tires.The Continental GP5000 S TR was listed at 24 percent off at Competitive Cyclist — “but only in the Black walled variant”, in three widths. Tire deals are real and size-restricted, which is the same catch as clothing.

Complete bikes.The years after the pandemic left the bike industry with far more stock than buyers. Cycling Weekly’s account from 27 March 2026 puts it plainly — “To clear the excess inventory, many brands turned to discounting” — and quotes Canyon that month describing “a challenging market environment marked by oversupply and discounting”, and Giant’s Angelo Mascelli saying “for most brands, we’re through the heavily distressed inventory period”. Whether November 2026 repeats the discounting is genuinely uncertain, and the same article notes tariff costs on Chinese-built bicycles that push the other way. Rick Vosper, writing in Bicycle Retailer and Industry News on 2 February 2026, argued that “suppliers have ordered less inventory for 2026, with the anticipation of being able to sell it at full price”, and that the pattern to expect is “prices remain firm throughout the selling season, and any stragglers get closed out post-season” — while saying plainly that he is “not privy to suppliers’ ordering plans”. That is an informed opinion column, and we are presenting it as one.

What rarely discounted, or where we found nothing

Anything just released.DC Rainmaker’s rule above. If a product was announced between August and October, its predecessor is what goes on sale.

Groupset components.We looked for Shimano or SRAM manufacturer-wide sales in the 2025 coverage and did not find one. What the components section of the Cyclingnews roundup actually contained was retailer clearance of specific items — a SRAM Red AXS upgrade kit at 20 percent off at Competitive Cyclist with the note “there’s only one left in stock”. That is a retailer clearing a shelf, not a category discounting. Our cassette and chain roundups are sorted by fit, and fit does not go on sale.

Tools. We did not see a Park Tool deal in any of the 2025 roundups we read. That is not evidence there was none; it is evidence we did not find one, and we would rather tell you that than guess.

Consumables. Chain lube, degreaser, tubes, sealant. Some of these will carry a percentage in November, and a percentage of a small number is a small number. Buy them when you need them.

How to tell whether a deal is real

The consumer group Which? tracked 175 products across eight UK retailers, including Amazon, for a full year around the 2024 sale and published the result on 25 November 2025: “83 per cent of products were cheaper or equal in price on at least one occasion outside of the four-week Black Friday sales period.” Looking at Black Friday itself, it “found none of the deals were at their cheapest only on that day.” Its advice is the only advice that works: check the price history. It names camelcamelcamel for Amazon; we would add that the price board at the bottom of this page is a dated record of what each of our picks cost today, which is the comparison a “was” price is designed to stop you making.

Cyclingnews’s own end-of-weekend verdict is worth quoting in full: “most deals are just usual sale items repackaged as a Black Friday — and then Cyber Monday — deal. However, every year, the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday bike deals are reserved for the Friday itself, the Monday instead, or the full weekend before returning to a higher price on Tuesday.” And the rule of thumb that follows: “if a discount was available before Friday, it should remain available after Monday.”

When the sales actually run

The dates are fixed: Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November. The sales are not. Cyclingnews described the 2025 weekend as the end of “a month-long buildup”; Yahoo’s 2026 preview quotes an analyst saying “multi-week extensions of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with deals starting in October, are becoming the norm rather than the exception”. Amazon’s October event — Prime Big Deal Days, which ran on 7 and 8 October in 2025 — has not been confirmed for 2026 as of TODAY’s update on 9 September 2026, and we are not assuming it. If it is announced, this page will say so.

The other date that matters is the return window. Amazon’s published 2025 holiday policy allowed most items bought between 1 November and 31 December to be returned until 31 January 2026, and let a gift recipient start the return with the order number on the packing slip. Amazon has not published the 2026 equivalent as of 12 September 2026. When it does, the dates go here.
